About Me

My name is Jocelyn Gonzalez my pronouns are she/her

I grew up in the Bay Area, in Fremont and Newark. I am still located in Newark. I am glad I stayed in Newark since I have family here. I enjoy commuting to school although sometimes the traffic is horrible.

My major is sociology and I have a minor in criminal justice.

I took a death and dying course last semester and in that course we discussed medicine. When I was going through the elective courses I knew I wanted to learn more about medical sociology.

I am looking forward to learning more about this subject and I am also excited that this online course is different than the previous ones I have taken.
